About Jennifer

Jennifer Ho is an associate lawyer with Kimberley A. Pegg, Barristers. She was called to the bar in 2020 after articling at a boutique full-service Ottawa firm focused on criminal law, civil litigation and family law, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 2019. During law school she interned with the Department of Justice's War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity Section, the Ontario Court of Justice, and a leading sole-practitioner criminal defence lawyer, and was a teaching assistant in Public and Constitutional Law. Before law she received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Ottawa, where she worked in comparative physiology and stem cell research; she also holds an Associate Diploma in Solo Piano from Trinity College of London and has taught private piano for over 12 years. Jennifer is a member of the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa, the Child Protection Defence Association of Ottawa and the Criminal Lawyers Association, currently serves as a Junior Director of Barristers for a Better Bytown, and previously sat on the board of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, Ontario Chapter, from 2018 to 2024.
