About Mackenzie

Mackenzie practices only in family law and joined The Riley Divorce & Family Law Firm in 2024. He was called to the bar in May 2021 after articling at Luke's Place in Oshawa, a resource centre supporting survivors of family violence, an experience that shaped his client-focused, personalized style. As a litigator he balances firm advocacy with a willingness to negotiate reasonably where possible. Before coming to Riley, his Simcoe County practice covered parenting time, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, and equalization, along with matters involving high-conflict custody disputes. He has also represented grandparents seeking access and fathers in contested proceedings.
