About Jeffery
Jeffery Couse earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, graduating with distinction. He also holds an Honours B.A. in history from Wilfrid Laurier University and an M.A. in history from the University of Toronto. After finishing law school, he clerked for judges at Toronto's Superior Court of Justice before beginning his career in criminal defence, having been called to the bar in 2017. His practice is now focused on appeals, though he has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario on serious charges including murder, firearms possession, drug trafficking, and fraud over $5,000. He has represented clients in parole and review proceedings, appearing before both the Ontario Parole Board and the Ontario Review Board.
