About Jeannette

Jeannette Aucoin is a Vancouver family lawyer handling divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division and complex trust matters, and has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia. She has spent nearly a decade building a specialty in fertility and reproductive technology law, advising clients across Canada and abroad on surrogacy agreements, fertility law compliance and donor agreements, and knows the Assisted Human Reproduction Act well. She contributed to the fertility law chapter of the BC Family Law Practice and Procedure Manual and its 2024 update. Before joining Cozen O'Connor, she was a partner at a top-ranked Western Canada firm and began her career at a full-service firm in Richmond, BC. Aucoin holds a law degree from Thompson Rivers University and a BA from the University of Victoria, and volunteers with the Access Pro Bono Society of BC.
