About Jaylene
Jaylene Olson is building a broad litigation practice. Before joining the firm, she gained experience in securities law disputes while articling with counsel who provide independent legal advice to the Capital Markets Tribunal. She has argued an appeal before the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, successfully defending against summary judgment dismissal of a client's action. Jaylene graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023, where she spent three years on Student Caucus, chairing it in her final year, sat on the Academic Policy and Planning Committee, wrote for the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, and worked as a caseworker at the Investor Protection Clinic assisting low-income investors. She received the Dean's Gold Key for her contributions to the Osgoode community and holds a B.A. in International Relations and Anthropology from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024.
