About Jay

Jay Spiro's practice focuses on employment law, helping businesses and non-profit employers manage their workforces through employment agreements, terminations, and compliance with employment standards, human rights obligations, and WorkSafeBC requirements. As counsel to employees, he advises on job offers, severance negotiations, and dismissal and discrimination complaints. He has appeared before the BC Supreme and Provincial Courts, the Federal Court of Canada, and the BC and Canadian Human Rights Tribunals. He received his law degree in 2005 from the University of Ottawa and a business administration degree in 2001 from Trinity Western University.
