About Jason
Jason F. Katz's practice is dedicated exclusively to representing plaintiffs in personal injury, long-term disability, property loss, and medical malpractice matters. He has built a record handling trials, appeals, mediations, and arbitrations, and the Law Society of Ontario has certified him as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. Jason has litigated a number of notable cases, including wrongful death, occupiers' liability, and chronic pain claims that went before juries. He graduated from McGill University in 1994 with a BA in Economics, then completed a joint JD/MBA through Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business in 1998. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2000 and spent over a decade, from 2002 to 2018, at a firm recognized among Canada's personal injury boutiques. Jason belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Advocates' Society, and he lectures regularly to members of the healthcare community.
