About Jason

Jason D. Meretsky is a corporate securities lawyer at Meretsky Law Firm, with a practice covering business acquisitions and divestitures, general corporate matters, shareholder issues, financings, and securities compliance and regulatory work. With more than 25 years of business and legal experience, Jason brings a strong understanding of financial issues to complex transactions. Jason was previously a business law partner at Goodman and Carr LLP and earlier practised at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP before joining Meretsky Law Firm in 2009, and also has extensive executive management background, having overseen acquisition programs in the technology sector for public and private companies, sitting from time to time on boards and audit committees of various companies. Jason holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business, and a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1996.
