About Jared

Jared Wheeler practises construction litigation, civil litigation, and corporate commercial litigation. Before joining the firm he articled at the Public Interest Law Centre of Legal Aid Manitoba and then worked as an associate at a small Winnipeg firm handling civil litigation, corporate law, administrative law, and Aboriginal law. He has appeared as counsel before the Court of King's Bench of Manitoba, the Manitoba Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, the Manitoba Public Utilities Board, and the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba's Robson Hall in 2016 and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2017. He formerly chaired the Manitoba Bar Association's Aboriginal Law section and served as president of the board of Inclusion Winnipeg, Inc.
