About Jamuna

Jamuna Balaram is Counsel to the Firm at Epstein & Associates, practising family law, estate planning, estate litigation, and real estate from the Mississauga office. She previously worked in the litigation department of a full-service firm handling family law and general civil litigation matters. Jamuna is a collaboratively trained lawyer with experience in domestic contracts, custody and access, child and spousal support, and net equalization of family property, and while she regularly appears in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Courts of Justice, she favours negotiated, early resolution where possible. She is active with several collaborative practice groups, serves on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Association of Collaborative Professionals, holds a Q.Med designation through ADRIO, and has been a roster mediator since 2013. Jamuna was called to the bar in 2015 and speaks English and Tamil.
