About Jamie

Jamie Pudwell is a commercial litigation associate at Simmonds Law focusing on general litigation, business law, and tax law. He holds a BA with Honours in English Literature and a minor in Latin from Carleton University, where he competed in Mock Trial competitions with the Carleton Moot Team. He earned his JD from Queen's University's Faculty of Law, where he took part in moot competitions including the Davies Securities and Corporate Law Moot, with coursework emphasizing contract law, business law, trusts, and taxation. Before joining Simmonds Law, he completed his summer internship and articles at a full-service business firm in Ottawa. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, with a particular interest in tax litigation.
