About James

James Simpson began full-time practice with Neighbourhood Legal Services (London & Middlesex) after a Law Practice Program work placement at the clinic, and was called to the bar in June 2021 after graduating from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2020. James Simpson holds two bachelor's degrees in Communication and English from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, and gained a mediation certification through Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo during law school. With the clinic, James Simpson has primarily practised in social assistance and housing law, also holding clinic experience in employment law, criminal law and consumer protection.
