About James

Jim practises in civil litigation and labour and employment law, focusing particularly on the defence of professionals such as architects, engineers and accountants, while also offering general counsel to businesses. He has extensive trial experience and has participated in numerous mediations involving construction claims ranging from residential to multi-million dollar projects, and serves as counsel to one of the region's largest professional liability insurers. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Law from Dalhousie University. He has served on the boards of Big Brothers & Sisters, the IWK Health Centre Foundation, and Sport Nova Scotia, and currently sits on the boards of the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame and Harbour City Homes.
