About James

James L. Ansorge, known as Jamie, is a member who focuses on legislative campaigns, budget advocacy and regulatory approvals within New York City and state government on behalf of firm clients, including companies, institutions, trade associations and nonprofits. Before joining the firm he practiced government affairs law at an international firm and later at one of New York's top lobbying firms, coordinating city legislative and budgetary matters. Jamie has secured significant discretionary and capital funding for nonprofit clients and previously served as finance director for a congressional campaign. He earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where he edited the Journal of Law & Policy, and holds an undergraduate degree in politics, social justice and social policy from Brandeis University.
