About James

James (Jim) C. Brown is a partner with a business law practice emphasizing mergers and acquisitions, franchising and licensing, intellectual property and technology, and commercial leases. He serves as outside general counsel for many of the firm's clients, focusing on owner-managed companies. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1973 and an LL.M. from the University of London, was called to the Ontario Bar in 1975, and is a Registered Trademark Agent.
