About Jagmeet
Jagmeet Viyas graduated from the University of Victoria in 2004 with a degree in electrical engineering and worked as an electrical design engineer, including as a co-inventor on a patent for assessing athletic performance, before pursuing law. He completed his Juris Doctor at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Law and articled with Watson Goepel LLP in Vancouver. He joined Virk Viyas & Associate Lawyers in February 2013 and focuses on general litigation, including commercial and corporate litigation, debt collection, builder's liens, property disputes, foreclosures, insurance claims, employment law, and personal injury matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He sits on the board of directors of the Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce.
