About Jacob

Jacob Burling's practice covers general commercial and civil litigation, tax litigation, and administrative law. He earned his JD cum laude from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2022, after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in physics with distinction at the University of Windsor. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023 and began his career in criminal law before moving into civil litigation, joining Bartlet & Richardes LLP in June 2025. He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Tax Court of Canada, and the Divisional Court, and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Essex Law Association.
