About Iwona

Iwona is a partner in the Business & Corporate, Corporate Finance & Securities, and Tax Practice groups, focusing on corporate commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law. She advises new ventures, corporate executives, owner-managed businesses and not-for-profits on financings, reorganizations and cross-border transactions, and has worked on more than 150 high-profile deals. Iwona joined Soloway Wright in 2013 after several years with a national firm and was named one of Ottawa's Forty under 40 in 2014. She sits on the firm's three-partner Management Committee and holds board and mentoring roles in the Ottawa business community. She earned her LLB from the University of Ottawa in 2004 and was called to the bar in 2005.
