About Isabella
Isabella is an articled student at Bernard Lau and Co. Born and raised in China, she earned her Bachelor's degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and a Master's degree from Tsinghua University before working for China National Petroleum Corporation for more than ten years on international petroleum engineering and construction projects. She later moved to Canada and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. During law school she volunteered with the UCalgary BLG Business Venture Clinic, UBC's Law Students' Legal Advice Program and Pro Bono Students Canada, assisting with employment agreements, shareholders' agreements, contractor agreements, incorporations, immigration law, employment law and residential tenancy matters. She speaks fluent Mandarin and English.
