About Harmit

Harmit Sarai began her legal career practicing corporate, commercial, and immigration law after receiving her JD from the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to graduating, she worked over a summer at a non-profit legal organization assisting migrant workers with employment-related issues. She is a board member and volunteer lawyer at the South Asian Legal Clinic of B.C., where she works to empower the South Asian community with legal knowledge, and volunteers with Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights, which intervenes in court proceedings involving international human rights law.
