About Inesa

Inesa Buchyn practises family law as an associate lawyer, serving clients from the Newmarket and Richmond Hill offices. She earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto, double-majoring in Peace and Conflict Studies, together with International Relations, then completed her law degree at the University of Windsor, where she represented low-income clients through Community Legal Aid. Before joining the firm, she acted for the Director of Ontario's Family Responsibility Office in numerous contentious proceedings, appearing across the province before both the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court, which built her knowledge of the office's enforcement mandate. She completed a Program on Negotiation and Leadership at Harvard Law School and trained as a Collaborative Family Law lawyer. She was called to the bar in 2016 and speaks English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
