About David

David Spencer is a partner at SR who oversees the firm's development, condominium, and subdivision department. He earned a BA from Queen's University in 1980 and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1983, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985. He began his career in the development department of a large Toronto condominium developer before returning to private practice, later joining SR in 2001 and becoming partner in 2009. With more than 37 years of experience, David handles large land purchases along with condominium and subdivision registrations, including high-rise, low-rise, and phased projects. He has also worked on large commercial and retail developments and assisted developers with landowner cost-sharing arrangements.
