About Honourable

The Honourable Nancy L. Key, KC joined Key Murray Law as Jurist in Residence in January 2026, bringing decades of judicial and legal experience to mentor the firm's lawyers and support client service initiatives. She was a founding partner of Key and Key in 1984 and practiced law from 1982 until October 2013, when she was appointed a justice of the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island, serving in that role for 12 years. Nancy earned an LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 1981 and was called to the bar of Prince Edward Island in 1982, later being appointed King's Counsel in 2001. She has been recognized as an Access to Justice All Star by the National Self-Represented Litigation Project and has been active with numerous legal and community organizations, including as a past president of the Zonta Club of Summerside.
