About Helmut

Helmut practiced civil litigation for over 30 years, with an emphasis on serious personal injury and wrongful death claims, insurance litigation, and construction-related disputes. He joined Bell Baker in 1986 after articling there and became a partner in 1991. He appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and various administrative tribunals, and had extensive experience resolving disputes through arbitration and mediation. He is a graduate of Carleton University and earned his law degree at the University of Ottawa, and was a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association.
