About Darwish

Darwish A. Chahbar is an associate lawyer at McCague Borlack in London, called to the bar in 2016. He represents institutional clients in insurance defence work, including subrogation, coverage disputes, and property damage claims. Before joining the firm he practised at a boutique litigation firm and served as in-house counsel for one of Canada's largest insurers, which gave him a practical understanding of risk management. He has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Licensing and Appeals Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. Darwish holds degrees in history and political science from Western and Windsor, along with a J.D. from Western, and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area.
