About Hedieh

Hedieh Kashani is an associate at Schofield Macchia and Associates who represents clients facing criminal and quasi-criminal charges, with particular attention to appeals. She is a strong advocate for pre-trial release and brings a creative approach to both litigation strategy and negotiations with other justice system actors. Her practice has a particular strength in complex Charter litigation, including challenges around police stops, search warrants and unreasonable delay. Hedieh completed her undergraduate studies in Iran before earning a Master's in English at the University of Toronto and then attending Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was called to the bar in 2022. She speaks fluent Farsi.
