About Heather

Heather Maki is an associate lawyer at Iris Legal with extensive litigation experience in Indigenous, environmental, and regulatory law. She regularly advises on natural resource development, energy and infrastructure projects, Aboriginal rights and title, treaty rights, and consultation and accommodation matters. A gold medalist in law school and a former clerk at the BC Supreme Court, she is known for her legal writing and analysis and for distilling complex issues into practical guidance.
