About Heather

Heather Adams is an Indigenous Governance Analyst at Kina Law and a recent graduate of the University of Victoria's joint Canadian Common Law and Indigenous Legal Orders (JD/JID) program. Before law school she worked with a local First Nation government on land and environmental governance, consultation, and recognition of Indigenous jurisdiction, and during law school she worked with Anishinaabe and Dene communities on governance projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Simon Fraser University and will begin articling with the BC Ministry of Attorney General in 2027.
