About Lara

Lara Hayward joined Brown Henderson Melbye in 2022 as a co-op student at the University of Victoria's law school, completed her articles there, and was called to the bar in 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of the Fraser Valley. Her practice includes family law, elder law, and wills and estates. Raised in Northwestern B.C. and the Fraser Valley, she now lives on Vancouver Island.
