Rich Appiah founded the firm and leads it as principal. Before starting it, Rich spent more than ten years practising with employment and labour lawyers in Canada. Called to the Ontario bar in 2006, Rich has appeared as counsel in the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and has represented clients before arbitration boards, provincial and federal human rights tribunals, the Ministry of Labour's Employment Standards Branch and the Canadian Industrial Relations Board.
Associate lawyer Gurjot Grewal is licensed in Ontario and admitted to practise in India too, where Gurjot spent several years acting for clients at the provincial appellate court in Chandigarh before moving to Canada in 2022. In Toronto, Gurjot went on to work as an associate at another employment firm, acting for employers and employees on terminations and layoffs and on harassment, discrimination and accommodation claims.
