About Appiah Law
Appiah Law is a small Toronto firm that focuses entirely on employment and labour law. Founder Rich Appiah formed the practice after more than a decade working with employment and labour lawyers elsewhere in Canada. The firm advises both sides of the employment relationship, from entry-level workers to C-suite executives, and from small businesses to enterprise-scale employers. Appiah was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2006 and has appeared before Ontario courts, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, arbitration boards, human rights tribunals, and the Canadian Industrial Relations Board. Associate lawyer Gurjot Grewal trained and practiced in employment law in Toronto after starting a legal career in India, and provides legal advice in Punjabi and Hindi in addition to English.
