About Greg
Greg Samuels is the founder of Cross Border Law, a dual American and Canadian lawyer and citizen who has represented Canadians seriously injured or killed in the United States for more than three decades, particularly in Washington State, including in federal court. He built the niche practice in 1995 after beginning his career representing Canadians injured in Washington, and now limits his practice to a small number of significant cases each year, working with a national team of co-counsel, experts, and jury consultants. His cases require coordinating U.S. liability law with Canadian insurance systems, including ICBC and underinsurance claims, and structuring recovery for long-term cross-border care. Greg earned his BA in English from Tulane University and his Juris Doctor from American University's Washington College of Law, completing further legal training at the University of British Columbia's Allard School of Law. He has been a member of the Washington State Bar since 1990 and the Law Society of British Columbia since 1994.
