About Graham

Graham Haynes is an associate at Stewart McKelvey's Saint John office, with a tax practice covering both tax planning and tax litigation. On the planning side, he advises clients undertaking mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations, and has completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Program. On the litigation side, he represents clients in income and sales tax audits, objections, and appeals, with matters before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court, and provincial superior courts. Before joining private practice, he clerked at the Tax Court of Canada. Graham earned his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2018 and a BBA with First Class Honours from St. Francis Xavier University. He was called to the New Brunswick bar in 2019 and leads the firm's pro bono initiative helping people challenge CRA determinations on COVID-19 benefit programs.
