About Gerard

Gerard C. Borean is a founding partner of Parente Borean LLP. He earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1987. Over more than 35 years, his civil litigation practice has touched on many fields: municipal matters (where he's represented developers and property owners), construction disputes, commercial cases, employment issues, family law, and wills and estates. He appears regularly before the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Land Tribunal. Gerard describes his approach as resolution based, serving clients ranging from large corporations to individuals. He belongs to the Ontario Bar Association, the Toronto Construction Association, and the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization, and volunteers with several youth-focused community groups.
