About George

George Tsimiklis is a senior criminal defence lawyer with more than three decades of trial experience across Ontario. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1993 after articling in Ottawa under Michael Neville, Robert Selkirk and Ken Hall, and built his own criminal defence practice there before extending his work into broader Ontario jurisdictions. His practice covers homicide, drug trafficking, fraud, firearms offences, impaired driving and regulatory matters under statutes including the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. He has appeared before the Quebec Provincial Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Appeal, and has consulted on fraud-related litigation before the High Court of England. He also mentors junior lawyers in Toronto.
