Gabriella Maatouk is an associate focusing exclusively on criminal defence work. Her clients face charges ranging from assault and domestic assault to criminal harassment and sexual assault, and her practice includes conducting special bail hearings. She takes a client-centered approach to advocacy and has a particular interest in representing individuals who are vulnerable or marginalized within the justice system. Called to the Ontario bar in 2025 following her articles at the firm, she completed her law degree at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law in 2023. During school she co-founded the First-Generation Network, a group supporting students who are the first in their family to attend post-secondary or law school, and sat on the executive of the Criminal Law Students' Society. Before law school, she studied at Carleton University, earning an honours BA focused on law along with women's and gender studies, followed by a master's degree in legal studies in 2020. She speaks English fluently, converses in Arabic, and has basic French.
