About Gary

Gary Wanless has practised as a civil litigator in Red Deer for more than 35 years, representing clients in disputes with individuals, companies and governments. His litigation experience spans commercial and condominium disputes, environmental claims, personal injury, contract and real estate matters, employment law, and creditor-debtor and landlord-tenant disputes. He has also served as an adjudicator and now works as a mediator, drawing on years of trial experience. Gary was called to the Alberta Bar on July 19, 1981, and is a graduate of the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law. He is active with the Central Alberta Bar Society and has held roles with the Canadian Bar Association's Alberta Branch and the Law Society of Alberta, including chairing the Media & Law Conference in Red Deer and serving as a past president of the Central Alberta Bar Association.
