About Evelyn

Evelyn Tsao is a dual-qualified lawyer with more than a decade of experience in public law and human rights in Hong Kong, recently qualified in BC and building a practice in labour, employment, human rights, professional regulatory and administrative law. After being admitted as a solicitor of the High Court in Hong Kong in 2011, Tsao worked in the Civil Litigation Unit of the Hong Kong Department of Justice, then joined a public interest law firm in 2019 assisting migrant workers who had experienced sexual abuse, forced labour and trafficking, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Tsao received the Pro Bono Service Award from the Law Society of Hong Kong in 2021 and holds a Master of Laws from Harvard focused on feminist jurisprudence and human rights.
