About Evelyn

Evelyn Jacobs, L.L.B. began her academic career at the University of Calgary, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a focus on crime and deviance. She joined Yanko & Popovic in 2014 as a paralegal under the mentorship of David Yanko, and after eight years in that role returned to school to pursue her law degree while continuing to work full-time at the firm. She earned her LLB from the University of Buckingham with first-class honours in January 2023, receiving recognition for her academic performance in criminal law and overall exam results, and was nominated for a Woman of the Future Award. She has extensive experience in personal injury matters, including Section B guidelines, disability claims, settlement negotiations and litigation, and has spoken at The Women's Parliament in Cambridge on medical autonomy and decision making.
