About Brad
Brad Popovic, LL.B. graduated from law school in 1996 and began his career with an internship at the United Nations International Trade Law Branch in Vienna, focusing on international electronic commerce, cross-border insolvencies and privately financed infrastructure projects. He then worked with the United Nations Center for International Crime Prevention and the UN Development Program on a criminal justice reform project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, covering criminal law, corruption, juvenile justice and court case-management reforms. He returned to Alberta in 2000, articled with David Yanko and practiced criminal law and personal injury litigation, and in 2003 opened a law firm with Yanko where they continue to practice in personal injury and criminal law. He also serves as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Paraguay for Alberta.
