About Erin
Erin Mitchell is an associate in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office, focusing on employment and labour law and matters involving regulated health professions. She earned her BA in History from McGill University before completing her JD at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2021. Erin advises both unionized and non-unionized employers on issues including wrongful dismissal, labour grievances, workplace harassment, and human rights, and has appeared before the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission and Nova Scotia Labour Board. She is a member of the Nova Scotia Medical Legal Society and The Advocates' Society, and volunteers as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax.
