About Erik
Erik Shum is an associate at Isaacs Odinocki LLP, which he joined in 2021. His practice covers the defence of commercial general liability, property and casualty, product liability, and transportation claims, along with insurance coverage advice. His court experience includes motions and applications at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Human Rights Tribunal. Before law, he worked as an insurance broker for a national insurer. He earned his J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2018 and a B.Sc. Honours from the University of Toronto in 2005, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.
