About Eric

Eric Thomson is a partner and founding member of the firm, formerly known as Quackenbush, Thomson & Robbins. He has practised for nearly 40 years, focusing on commercial and residential real estate and wills and estates. Born in Halifax, he earned his Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University in 1969 and his law degree from Dalhousie in 1972, and was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1973. He has served on provincial boards and commissions including the Waterfront Development Corporation and the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority, has served on the Canadian Boxing Federation, and has been a board member or director for community organizations including Chebucto Links and The Tall Ships. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Salmon Association and the Atlantic Salmon Federation.
