About Peter

Peter Thomson focuses on transactional law, with primary areas of practice in property and corporate work, representing individuals, businesses and institutions across Nova Scotia on residential and commercial real estate transactions and as general counsel for ongoing operations. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce at Saint Mary's University before earning an M.B.A. and law degree at Dalhousie University, and was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in 2010. He is a board member of the Real Estate Lawyer Association of Nova Scotia (RELANS) and volunteers his legal services for Nova Scotia's Reachability program. His areas of practice include incorporation, shareholder and partnership agreements, corporate restructuring, asset and share purchase agreements, commercial refinancing, and residential real estate purchase, sale and refinancing.
