Elodie Drolet-French joined Jean-François Bertrand Avocats in spring 2018 as a law student, later completed her articling at the firm, and has practised as a lawyer there since being sworn in in 2019. During her studies at Université Laval she won the Lu Chan Khuong prize for excellence in administrative law coursework and helped develop content for the Droit des administrations publiques course offered to certificate students there. She was involved in several student committees, including the Bureau d'information juridique, the Question de Genre feminist committee, and the Centre de Mentorat en droit, and has volunteered with the Association québécoise de défense des droits des personnes retraitées et préretraitées, helping older people. Her practice covers civil and commercial litigation, Indigenous law, criminal law, administrative law and disciplinary law, and she is the firm's privacy officer.
