About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Dickson is an associate at Stewart McKelvey in Halifax who combines her law practice with a background as a professional engineer. Before moving to law, she worked in engineering roles across several industries, and her practice now focuses on general corporate and commercial law, corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, and commercial transactions. She has advised buyers and sellers in sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure, professional services and technology, and has also served as in-house legal counsel for a large public company. Elizabeth was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2022, holding a JD from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. She is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Law Society of Ontario and Engineers Nova Scotia.
