Elizabeth Barefoot practises both as a criminal defence lawyer and as an Agent of the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, primarily in Grey and Bruce Counties. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University in 2002 and a law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2007, and was called to the bar in 2008. After articling at a firm in Owen Sound, she opened her own practice in 2014 and incorporated it as Barefoot Law Professional Corporation in 2017, growing it to include several lawyers, paralegals and a law clerk. She is a member of the Grey County Law Association and the Bruce County Law Association, and currently serves as the Ontario Bar Association's Regional Representative for the Criminal Justice section. She previously served as President and Vice-President of the Grey County Law Association, remains on its Board of Directors, and is the Criminal Lawyers' Association's regional representative for Grey Bruce.
