Barefoot Law Professional Corporation is a criminal defence firm in Owen Sound, Ontario, that takes on cases across Grey, Bruce, Huron and Simcoe Counties. Elizabeth Barefoot opened the practice as a solo firm in April 2014 and incorporated it in 2017. The firm handles matters under the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and the Highway Traffic Act, from bail hearings and guilty pleas through to trials and appeals, and it appears in Gladue Court and Mental Health Court as well as the regular criminal courts in Owen Sound, Walkerton, Goderich and Collingwood.

The firm has grown from that solo start to a team of four lawyers, several of whom also act as agents for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada in Grey and Bruce Counties. Barefoot has pointed to the value of getting a steady start in the practice of law and has trained several lawyers who went on to become Provincial Crown Attorneys or drug prosecutors elsewhere, and the firm continues to bring on new calls to the bar. Its office at 930 1st Avenue West in Owen Sound is shared with two other local lawyers who practice separately, one in criminal defence and drug prosecution and the other in family, real estate, and wills and estates law.
