About Eli

Eli S. Lederman is a partner whose practice spans complex commercial litigation, including securities law, class actions, commercial contracts, franchise disputes and shareholder litigation. He regularly acts for directors and officers of private and public corporations and advises boards on governance and litigation matters. Eli has extensive trial experience in commercial litigation and medical malpractice cases and has appeared as lead counsel at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He is a member of the firm's Management Committee and frequently speaks at continuing legal education programs on contractual disputes, securities law and trial advocacy. Eli was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002 after earning his LLB from Dalhousie University in 2001 and a BA with Distinction in history from McGill University in 1998.
