About Eleanor
Eleanor Carlson, TEP, is a partner at Carbert Waite LLP whose practice covers estate planning, administration and litigation, including estates involving private corporations or significant business assets. She represents clients in will validity and interpretation disputes, executor disputes, estate accounting matters, and capacity and undue influence challenges, and advises on estate planning for blended families and business succession. She received the Faculty of Law Silver Medallion on graduating from the University of Calgary in 2015 and later earned the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. She holds a BA in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Alberta (2007) and an MA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Victoria (2010), and is a director of Pro Bono Law Alberta and founding director of the Great Bar Band Battle Society, which has raised over $260,000 for access-to-justice organizations since 2016.
