About Elan

Elan Mendelsohn is a family and divorce lawyer at Galbraith Family Law. Born in Toronto to parents from Mexico City, he studied psychology and criminology at Western University before earning his law degree at the University of Windsor, where he received an award for oral advocacy. He began his career in civil litigation and later moved into family law, drawing on his patience and interest in finance to help clients through complex financial disputes. His practice covers property division, equalization, spousal and child support, and he handles matters through both collaborative processes and litigation. Elan has been practicing since 2017 and offers services in English and Spanish.
